Role Overview

Country Delight · Posted via Nestor Services

Gurgaon or Hyderabad · Office / on-site · Full-time

Freshers & interns welcome — experience flexible. Strong interns finishing study considered; share your joining timeline. No prior full-time experience required.

Industry: Food & Beverage (FMCG / D2C)

Salary: Shared during screening

Country Delight is developing new products across herbs & seasonings and adjacent packaged foods, and is looking for an NPD associate to help take products from idea to shelf — working on blends and recipes, sensory and consumer testing, shelf-life and food-safety basics, and the hand-off to scale-up. The role suits a food-technology or food-science fresher, or someone with a relevant internship from a good institute. No prior full-time experience required. Preferred base is Gurgaon or Hyderabad; genuinely strong candidates elsewhere will still be assessed on fit.

Responsibilities
  • Support development of new seasoning and herb blends from brief to pilot batch.
  • Prepare and iterate lab prototypes; run and record sensory evaluations.
  • Help run consumer testing and translate feedback into formulation changes.
  • Check shelf-life, stability and basic food-safety and FSSAI labelling needs.
  • Maintain formulation records, specifications and costings.
  • Coordinate with sourcing and co-manufacturers on ingredients and scale-up.
Ideal Candidate
  • Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Processing or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of flavour and seasoning basics, sensory evaluation and FSSAI labelling.
  • Comfortable with numbers — formulation percentages, simple costing.
  • Relevant internship or a strong academic record from a reputed institute (freshers welcome).
  • Genuinely curious about food and flavour.

  • Food-tech / food-science freshers or interns from good institutes.
  • Candidates who can work from Gurgaon or Hyderabad.
  • People who want to build real products, not just study them.

Before You Apply / What Happens Next

  • We read every application, but we are not able to reply to each one — only shortlisted candidates are contacted.
  • Shortlisted candidates are asked to complete a short online assessment (about 30 minutes). It is a required step; everyone we take forward clears it first.
  • If the assessment and profile fit, we share the profile with the hiring manager for review.
  • The hiring manager decides whom to invite for an interview.
  • A strong assessment does not guarantee an interview — the final call on interviews rests with the hiring manager and what the role needs at the time.
  • All genuine messages come only from @nestorservices.in, and there is never any fee at any stage.
