Role Overview

We are looking for a Category Manager to lead end-to-end category ownership across sourcing, product development, and P&L management. The role requires building scalable sourcing strategies, launching new products, and driving profitability across D2C channels.

Responsibilities
  • Category Ownership & P&L
  • Own category performance including revenue, margins, and growth.
  • Drive pricing, assortment, and profitability levers.
  • New Product Launch (Pan India)
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch.
  • Identify market gaps and build competitive offerings.
  • Central Sourcing Strategy
  • Build and execute sourcing strategy (local + pan India).
  • Develop bulk procurement capabilities for cost efficiency.
  • Vendor Strategy & Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers across India.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and finalize 3P agreements.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience: 8–10+ years in category management / sourcing
  • Strong exposure to Edible Oils, Dry Fruits, Nuts, or Processed Foods
  • Proven Experience In New Product Launches And Bulk Sourcing Models
  • Strong Vendor Network Across India
  • Deep understanding of market pricing, sourcing practices, and supply dynamics
