Our Packaging Development team works closely with R&D, procurement, manufacturing and quality teams to develop innovative, sustainable and high-performance packaging solutions for millions of consumers.
The Role -
We are looking for a Packaging Development Associate to join our product and packaging team. This role sits at the intersection of innovation, technology, and cross-functional collaboration — you will work on packaging projects end-to-end, from initial concept through to commercial launch.
You will work closely with R&D, procurement, quality, manufacturing, marketing, and external suppliers — making this one of the most cross-functional roles in the organisation. The work is technical, detail-oriented, and directly impacts product quality and shelf performance.
What You Will Do -
Packaging Development & Innovation
– Lead packaging development projects from concept to commercialisation
– Research and evaluate new packaging materials, technologies, and sustainability solutions
– Develop packaging specifications — material structures, GSM, barrier properties, OTR, and WVTR
– Coordinate packaging artwork development and secure cross-functional approvals
– Conduct packaging testing, validation, and shelf-life studies to ensure performance and compliance
– Maintain packaging specifications, testing reports, and technical documentation
Supplier & Cost Management
– Manage supplier identification, onboarding, RFQs, technical evaluations, and cost comparisons
– Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, MOQ, and lead times
– Drive cost optimisation, MOQ rationalisation, and lead-time improvement initiatives
– Evaluate emerging packaging trends and bring relevant innovations to the team
Cross-Functional Collaboration
– Collaborate with R&D, procurement, quality, manufacturing, and marketing teams
– Work with external suppliers and technology partners on development and implementation
– Represent packaging requirements in cross-functional project teams
