Role Overview
Country Delight is looking for a Quality Assurance Executive with hands-on Quality Assurance experience across Pulses, Pickles and/or other Staples categories for its Bangalore location.
The role combines product/process quality with supplier-quality management and requires frequent supplier visits.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end product and process Quality Assurance.
- Assess raw materials, in-process products and finished products.
- Ensure quality standards across Pulses, Pickles and other Staples products.
- Conduct supplier quality assessments and supplier audits.
- Travel regularly to supplier locations for quality-related activities.
- Conduct physico-chemical, adulteration and cooking tests where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI requirements and food-safety regulations.
- Handle customer complaints and quality deviations through RCA/CAPA.
- Conduct internal audits and follow through on corrective actions.
- Conduct benchmarking exercises against product specifications and market standards.
- Maintain QA documentation, quality reports and specifications.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams on continuous quality improvement.
Ideal Candidate
- Spices, Rice, Cereals, Flours, Dry Fruits, Edible Oils, HACCP, GMP, Physico-Chemical Testing, Adulteration Testing, Benchmarking
- 2–5 years of relevant experience
