Trainee / Intern - Data Engineer

We are hiring a Trainee – Data Engineer for an established consumer-focused organization in Hyderabad.
This is a six-month, on-site trainee opportunity designed for fresh graduates and early-career professionals with practical knowledge of Python, MySQL, Pandas and NumPy.
The role provides hands-on exposure to real-world datasets, data processing and backend engineering. Successful candidates may be considered for full-time employment based on performance, adaptability and business requirements.
- Write Python scripts to process, clean and transform datasets.
- Develop and execute MySQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
- Use Pandas and NumPy for data analysis and validation.
- Assist in building and maintaining data-processing workflows.
- Identify and resolve data-quality issues.
- Support basic API integrations and backend operations.
- Debug, test and document data-processing logic.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams.
- Strong Foundation In Python Programming
- Working knowledge of MySQL and SQL queries, including joins and aggregations
- Practical Understanding Of Pandas And Numpy
- Relevant academic projects, internships or independent technical work
